The Shenzhen Outer Ring Expressway is an encrypted line of the “Twelve Vertical, Eight Horizontal, Two Rings and Sixteen Shots” highway skeleton network in Guangdong Province. It is an east-west expressway in Shenzhen, connecting Guangzhou-Shenzhen Yanjiang Expressway in the west, Baoan, Guangming, Longhua, Dongguan Tangxia, Fenggang, Longgang, Pingshan and other districts in the east, and Shenhui Expressway in the east. Shenzhen Outer Ring Expressway can effectively strengthen the main backbone of the expressway in the north-south direction of the Pearl River Delta, improve regional transportation and investment environment, and contribute to the construction of a pioneering demonstration zone of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and promote the society of Shenzhen, Dongguan, Huizhou and even the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
